Chicago IL Basement Waterproofing wants every homeowner in Chicago, IL and nearby Cook County towns to be able to read its pages, use its tools and send a request, on any device and with any assistive technology.
We aim for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1). Pages use plain HTML, headings in a sensible order, text alternatives for images, a label on every form field, strong color contrast and layouts that adapt to small screens, tablets and browser zoom. Answers to common questions appear in full on the page, not tucked behind panels you have to open.
Both the cost calculator and the wet-basement checker can be used with a keyboard alone. If either one is hard to use, the same information appears as plain text in the cost guide and on the service pages.
Parts of the site may still fall short. If something gets in your way, such as a page your screen reader can't follow or a form field you can't complete, tell us through the contact form, naming the page and the problem. A short message with the page address and what went wrong is enough for us to look into it.
Pages are reviewed for accessibility whenever they are added or changed. This statement is governed by Illinois law.
